ANGIE LAZZAR
Angie was born on the small Pacific Island of Guam, and moved to the Seattle area at a young age. She lived in Santa Barbara, California for a few years, and is currently based in Seattle.
Angie attended NW College of Art for Interior Design, and while there gained an interest in painting and illustration. She worked as a graphic designer and marketing assistant in the beauty industry, and when her first child was born she turned her focus to freelance design and became a self-taught painter.
Angie's preferred art medium is acrylic on cradled wood panels. Her work is a narrative of love, vulnerability, and transition. Symbolism is a common theme in her paintings.
Angie's work has been exhibited in galleries, art walks, and juried art shows in Seattle and the Central Coast of California.
